Who we are

Educational Psychology work is conducted by Paul Eames, chartered Educational Psychologist (BPS chartered and HCPC registered as Practitioner Psychologist). We occasionally work with other Educational Psychologists whom we have worked with in the past and know well.

Counselling will soon be available by Person Centred Counsellor (currently in training), Ria Eames.

Paul Eames has worked as an Educational Psychologist and Specialist Senior Educational Psychologist in East Sussex County Council for many years.

Paul previously managed a large team of specialist dyslexia teachers in East Sussex Council and was responsible for the area of language, literacy and specific learning difficulties in the County.

Paul is a qualified teacher.

Paul has worked in private practice for over 10 years. A few years ago, Paul moved into private practice full time, in order to reach a wider range of clients.

Ria Eames

Having worked in the private healthcare insurance industry for several years, Ria decided to combine passion with work and trained to be a counsellor. Ria has interests relating to anxiety, mental health, and in practically helping others be the best they can be.

Ria is reading a degree in Person Centred Counselling, having amassed experience in the areas of bereavement, substance misuse, and working with adolescents with a range of concerns.

Ria continues to grow her ever growing tool kit, using person centred principles, motivational interviewing, solution focused methods and acceptance and commitment therapy. This service will soon be available.
